I’m Lauren, the founder and hands-on plant enthusiast behind Lauren & Plants. If we haven’t met yet, I’m so excited to share my story with you and invite you into my world of indoor plants. A Little About Me and My Plant Journey
I live in Fort Worth, TX, where my home is filled with 200 plants (yes, you read that right!) and two tiny, sweet dogs. I’ve always been drawn to nature, and my love for plants grew from a deep desire to connect with the earth in a meaningful way. It wasn’t always smooth sailing in the plant world, but it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey that has brought me joy, peace, and even a new business venture.
What started as a hobby—nurturing a few plants in my living room—quickly turned into a full-fledged obsession. And let’s be real, it’s not just about the plants for me. It’s the plant care, the design, the plant styling, and the sense of accomplishment that comes with watching your plants grow and thrive.
In fact, my love for plants goes beyond aesthetics. In the depths of my grief, plants gave me a reason to get up each day. They became my healing companions, offering a quiet sense of peace and helping me find joy when I needed it most. They taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of nurturing life.

After a lot of time spent growing my own collection, I realized I wanted to help others experience the same joy that plants brought me. That’s when Lauren & Plants was born! What started as a simple passion project has blossomed into a business that focuses on plant design, styling, maintenance, and much more.
